Suburban Families’ Experience with Food Insecurity Screening in Primary Care Practices

With increasing poverty rates in suburban areas, researchers aim to understand families’ experiences of food insecurity, a persistent public health concern, to continue effective screening in primary care practice as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Families who screened positive for food insecurity were interviewed to offer their perceptions and recommendations.
