The Produce for Better Health Foundation’s 2017 Novel Approaches to Measuring and Promoting Consumption research examined intake motivators and barriers of mothers and primary household shoppers to understand their attitudes, beliefs and behaviors regarding the frequency of fruit and vegetable consumption. The study specifically explored the correlations of fruit and vegetable consumption with levels of happiness and overall life satisfaction across generations and income levels.
